- Trade Palace - dominated by a gigantic statue of Chairman Mao,
with numerous restaurants and markets nearby
- Zigong - a source of salt since the earliest dynasties, and
the Museum of Salt History devoted to the brine and natural gas wells which has been used
for a wide range of purposes since 11th Century. A dinosaur museum was also constructed
based on more than 100 specimens found in the region.
