| Day 1. Arrive
Frankfurt : You are met and transferred to your hotel. Later an
orientation tour of this historic city, shows us Romerberg Square, St Paul? Church, and
the Goethe? birthplace. Tonight we join our Tour Director for a Welcome
Drink. Hotel: Holiday Inn Offenbach. (D) |

| Day 2. Frankfurt - Bad Mergentheim: Today we head to
Wurzburg where we see the Marienberg Fortress, Residence Palace and stroll through the Old
Town. Now we drive to romantic Rothenburg, frozen in time since the 30 Years War. We enter
through medieval walls and follow cobblestone streets to the Market Square where we
witness the striking of the Town Clock. Now on to our hotel. Hotel: Maritim. (BB,D) |

| Day 3. Bad Mergentheim - Munich : This morning we
follow the Romantic Road to the Bavarian capital of Munich. Our orientation tour takes us
past the Olympic Stadium, and along Ludwigstrasse seeing the university and Victory Arch.
We then visit the Marienplatz with its soaring Gothic Town Hall and colourful Glockenspiel
before reaching our hotel. Tonight, why not join the locals for a lively evening at the
world famous Hofbrauhaus? Hotel: Arabella Sheraton. (BB) |

| Day 4. Munich - Saizburg : We cross the border into
Salzburg where a local guide walks us through the formal gardens of the Mirabell Palace.
Crossing the river we come to Getreidegasse, a lively shopping street lined with
attractive wrought iron signs, and we see Mozart's Birthplace. We continue through the old
town's narrow lanes to the Cathedral Square, seeing the ornate domed cathedral and the
splendid Residenz fountain. The afternoon is at leisure. Hotel: Renaissance. (BB) |

Day 5. Saizburg - Innsbruck : This morning a lovely
drive takes us through the snow capped mountains to Innsbruck. We visit the superb rococo
Wilten Basilica - its interior richly decorated with cherubs and angels. Next our Tour
Director will show us the the Imperial Palace and delightful Golden Roof. The rest of the
afternoon is at leisure. Tonight we enjoy our Highlight Dinner of traditional Tyrolean
cuisine!

Day
6. Innsbruck - Lucerne: Today we travel through thkie Arlberg Tunnel to
Vaduz, capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein. After some free time we enter
Switzerland, and continue to lovely Lucerne.
Our Tour Director will show us the Chapel Bridge and the stirring Lion Monument, with
plenty of time to shop for Swiss chocolate and that special timepiece! This evening why
not join your Tour Director for an optional Swiss fondue dinner? Hotel: Astoria. (BB) |

7. Lucerne - Mount Pilatus Excursion : A trip of a life time this
morning as we ascend to the summit of Mount Pilatus by cable car. From we admire the
stunning panorama of snow capped peaks including the Eiger and Jungfrau, before our
descent over mountain crags and snow - laden pine forests. Later, back in Lucerne, we are
free to stroll by the lake,or just relax(BB) |

8. Lucerne - Frankfurt: Today we pass by Zurich to visit the Rhine
Falls, before driving into Germany and the Black Forest. We follow the Rhine Valley north
to Heidelberg where we climb up to the magnificent Heidelberg Castle for stunning views
over the old town and the Neckar River. Then on to our hotel in Frankfurt. Hotel: Holiday
